That falls back 100% on Rizzo. Their lineup against the Orioles was awful, even in the game when Zimmerman hit three homers.

The other big part of it, you can't be 23rd in walk rate and fifth in strikeout rate. Their hitting coach should be about ready to be let go at this point.

Nationals have a better record than all of them.
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!

At some point we just need to bite the bullet and start calling Homer comments Slateman comments. It's getting ridiculous.

                          - Shelby goes yard for the first time of his career and was stellar on the mound once again (6 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 9 K).
                          - Daniel Descalso falls a triple short of the cycle for the second time in three weeks.
                          - And Matt Holliday hit a ball 106 mph over the left field bullpen.

Fun stuff. Should be an excellent series this weekend in GABP between the Reds and Cards.
