    Some useless Joey Votto stats.

MVPete doesn't buy it, but according to Elias, earlier this season Votto pulled a ball foul into the seats for the first time since 2009. It was the second time in his career he pulled a ball into the stands.

According to ESPN Stats & Research, Votto has popped out twice since 2010. As a comparison, they claim Albert Pujols has popped out 87 times over the same time period.

I heard that Votto once saved a baby polar bear while simultaneously going over the Canadian side of Niagara Falls in a barrel. On a Tuesday.
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"
