Brewers trade for Fat Juan Francisco and Call up Scooter Gennett
Hoping the Reds can cut ties with Izturis and pick him up. 25th man problems.
You don't want either of these fucks trust me.
I don't really mind the trade, we didn't give up anything for him so you might as well pull the trigger since he is an improvement over Gonzalez. Best part of this deal is that it means that Betancourt will also be DFA'd once Corey Hart is healthy. And as primetime noted, Fat Juan can fill in at 3B after the Brewers trade Gooby to the Angels for Kaleb Cowart.
I edited the thread title to include the other roster move the Brewers made today. Michael Fiers (lol) was sent down to AAA, and Scooter Gennett was called up to Milwaukee. This is an interesting move considering Gennett can only play 2B, it's possible that the organization is getting tired of rick leeks' shit.
Hopefully Gennett can join the ranks of scrappy white NL Central MI that warner hates.
Gob do you know anything about Keeling? I'm not expecting much from a 25 year old reliever in AA, but it seems like if he cut down his walk rate a lot he could be a useful high strikeout guy from the left side. The Braves have had success with these types in the past (Kimbrel, Venters to name two, both had awful BB rates in the minors).

I had to look up the name myself, so no I don't know anything about him. He is the third ranked LHRP in the Brewer's farm system according to Baseball America. He probably has a brighter future in Atlanta then he did here, considering the current front office in Milwaukee has no idea how to develop pitching.
