My point is, yeah, it hit him in the face which sucks, but it was clearly unintentional. Where do you draw the line? Above torso?

Pretty sure most of baseball hasn't evolved past that. Baseball and golf have always been the sports that police themselves. In baseball, it's usually an eye for an eye. In golf, the player is supposed to call themselves out.

Puig got pitched inside and it hit him in the face. He got up and went to first. That should've been it.

While I don't agree that he should've done it, Greinke hit Montero in the leg. Big whoop. You hit my guy in the face, and I your guy in the leg. Done. That really should've been enough. Montero wasn't hurt, Puig wasn't hurt. We're over.

Then for Kennedy to throw at Greinkes HEAD?! What the hell did he think was going to happen?! He said he was just trying to "brush him off." Yeah you really need to brush off the pitcher...

I was impressed that Puig got up and walked away after he was hit in the face. He's young and plays with a ton of passion and aggression, so for him to walk off it said a lot to me. It's hard to blame him from wanting to fight after that when he sees his teammate, the pitcher, get beaned in the shoulder (in real time, it looked like his head and his helmet came off). It's all just retarded.

By the way, since I'm almost positive non of you actually watched the game, a DBacks reliever came in later and beaned Mark Ellis in the 8th inning. So three Dodgers players were beaned it all. What a fucking joke. These "grown men" are pretty immature if you ask me.

The problem is I don't think Puig was "beaned", he was hit by an inside pitch. So what. As you said, it SHOULD have been the end of it. Thus I feel no sympathy for Greinke escalating the situation.
