Damn what kind of league is this? A six person league? I have Ike Davis stashed on the bench in all of my leagues, just too much talent there for him to not turn things around.

Must be a really small league. Otherwise I have no idea why you would cut Ike Davis. Not many players on the waiver wire in my leagues are about to be putting up 40 HRs and 120 RBIs in the near future.
