I don't know how, but the Nats got a run. Harvey is amazing. I wish the Nats had a pitcher like that ...
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

And as soon as Harvey comes out, the Nats' bats wake up.

As much as has been made about Rendon's approach at the plate and his ability to play second, he is a really good baserunner. Not especially fast, per say, but he gets a great secondary lead.

Braves win on Chipper Night. Hell of a job, boys. It was great to see Martin back in the Ted, and even better to see Randall Delgado.

ZEKE SPRUILL made his MLB debut tonight actually, he relieved Delgado and ended up striking out Chris Johnson, so other than Brandon Drury who's still in A ball, every player involved in that trade was out there tonight.

Wonder if the D'Backs will take Taveras for Spruill? Seems like a fair trade-off.

Rumors were that they were asking the Cubs about Jeff Samardzija.

Nationals are up 11-0 on the Mets.

Mets are going to bring in their back up catcher to pitch in the 9th inning.

6 straight balls. First strike gets crushed by Ian Desmond.

The Dodgers finally did the right thing and DFA'd Matt Guerrier. He's absolutely useless and he's most valuable as bullpen depth in the minors or as a pitcher for another team. On this same day, the Dodgers debuted 22-year-old Jose Dominguez. A 103mph fireballer from the Dominican, he threw a 10-pitch 1-2-3 inning (one strikeout).

Last Sunday, the Dodgers were 9 games back from first. Now they are only 4 back.
