Considering I haven't seen half of the list throw a single pitch, and maybe a random inning or two of a few others, i'm going to pass. Some of these geeks are in the low minors.

          With that said...

Also, pretty silly to rank Cingrani at the bottom when he's already had major league success, when you can be certain that at least one or two of these guys will flop completely, and several others with be bums.

Even if Cingrani settles in as a fourth starter or setup man, which is probably a fair floor at this point, it'll mean he's had a better career than probably 7 or 8 of these guys minimum. If Cingrani has the 19th best career out of these 20, this is like the greatest collection of young pitching talent of all time.

You guys must think we're on the verge of a pitching renaissance era. Sale is pretty god damn awesome.

Not to be taken literally, I just meant that Moore and Sale should be on the list long before half these other names even got brought up given they are already accruing MLB service time while some of these guys haven't even thrown a single inning of pro ball before. Were he available I'd rank Sale just behind Harvey.

                      Good point, Joe.

But with that said, there is no way to pick which of these geeks will settle in below a guy like Cingrani, without it being completely arbitrary. Because projections are largely based on upside & #stuff, which all of these guys have in high doses. So unless you are going strictly on gut feeling, how else are you supposed to construct a list?

Guys like Cingrani are put into this list because they are good barometers...if you almost all of these mooks ahead of Cingrani, you're probably blowing shit out of your ass, because most of these guys will end up blowing dick or having their arm fall off or going to the bullpen (much like Cingrani might)...

Yeah, that's my point. We all know at least a third of the list will be complete shit, but how do you decide which ones without throwing darts?
