      Great move for the Cubs to acquire a good bat for them moving forward. Rangers add a good starter that they desperately needed, and one who is going to help save the bullpen as well through the rest of the summer. I like the move from both ends, even if Garza ends up being just a rental piece.

        Agreed, good move by the Cubs to get Olt. Luis Valbuena has started 65 games at 3rd base, batting .236.

              Good trade for the Cubs, no other way to look at it.

              I never liked the original Garza trade when the Cubs traded like 19 people for Garza in the first place.

              And if they can re-sign him as a FA, that would be a Mortal Kombat flawless victory.
