Hardcore Dynasty League - With salaries starting in 2014?

Anyone interested in a hardcore dynasty league? I am talking at least 40 man rosters and salary caps here. Really don't care about scoring, more interested in the detail and depth of the roster construction.

Obviously we will not find the owners needed on VSN by itself, but if we can get at least six we can recruit from outside of VSN or just join up with an existing league (unlikely).

Making the thread now, so we have plenty of time to start discussing rules.

Here are the rules for a 30 team league: http://pro-gm.proboards.com/index.cg...ay&thread=1876

I can probably find the rest of the owners, but they are hardcore guys who do these as their primary leagues. I also started one of these years ago that's in it's eighth year, and I can probably post there and get a few people as well.

Are you looking at starting as individual teams? Or doing a draft?

I think some sort of draft would be better.

Alright, I'd have to see what you are planning. What I used to do was owners actually took control of a team. You ran an entire season, had free agency in the off-season and you'd have control of the minor league system of your team. It's a lot more involved than that, but that's the general idea.

Well personally, I would rather just build my own team. Instead of picking up what a GM has already built in real life. Plus i don't think we will be able to get 30 owners.

What I was thinking is having an initial draft for milb, pre arbitration, and arbitration eligible players, all who will be under team control under set salaries. And then having an auction style draft for all the veteran players who are past arbitration.

In subsequent years there would be a draft for minor league players, and a free agency period.
