Felt bad for Pete Rose here...he had to manage a game in which the home plate umpire was Eric Gregg and the 1st base umpire was Dave Pallone. No wonder Pete went berserk.

Jack Clark says Pujols was on the juice.

OK. That would shock exactly nobody.

Mark Reynolds DFA by Cleveland after his yearly cold spell, which was god-awful this year. I think there is a small chance the Orioles pick him up and hope he can turn it around being back in Baltimore.

The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Elaborate practical joke. Do you not know how to read?

Other thoughts from above, Pujols story doesn't surprise me at all if true, but also doesn't change how I think of Pujols at all.

Mark Reynolds is a useful player on the bench, I would take him in Milwaukee if he came cheap enough next year.

Gomez gif is awesome, fun player to watch.

Werth got this 1000th career hit. Two run homer.
