Did he bang it or tweak it earlier in the game? I just don't see what happened. It looked like it simply gave out.
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

sorry he has a torn medial patellofemoral ligament....not MCL or ACL.

It looks normal on that one shown above but another view I saw, it almost looked like when Noel torn his knee up last year....at least it's not really bad.

I blame Joe Strauss for trolling Nats fans all season.

Look at when he just passes the bag when his leg comes back up. It's rotated at an angle that it definitely shouldn't be. He avoided not just a major injury, but it's very likely he avoided surgery as well.

Fangraphs added the Baserunning above replacement statistic back to the leaderboard, after I called out Dave Cameron on twitter.

Let's face it, VSN is clearly the leaders is calling out baseball personalities.

We don't take any guff and will promptly call out bullshit.

So today Hamilton was finally caught stealing by none other than....

                  Juan Centeno.

                  All 5'9", about 175lbs.

He has a very a good arm and supposedly got him by a good amount.

Btw can the reds PLEASE BEAT THE METS. I'd be pissed if we took 2 out of 3 from them.

I think Hamilton was gassed from busting it on the infield hit. He didn't have a good lead (but then again, he never seems to take a good lead), but he got a good jump.

Amazing that he was caught with Daisuke's slow ass on the mound, too.

I think we discussed this in case of a possible three-way tie in the NL Central, but I really hope this happens for the AL Wildcard:

When there is a three-way tie between non-division winners and no other non-division winner has a better record claiming wild card 1, a tiebreaker eliminating 1 of the 3 teams will follow. Based on a group head-to-head record, teams A, B and C will be created. Team B will travel to team A. The winner wins wild card one. The loser will go to team C. The winner of that game wins wild card two. After those two games, wild card teams one and two will play each other in the wild card round; this could be an "A/B rematch."

So somebody would play 164 regular season games. Pretty crazy.
