Astros vs Indians does 0.0 rating - zero measured viewers.

In terms of Wins/Losses, which the average sports fan uses as a measure of success, they've not improved at all over last year. So with football season in full swing, especially with a team that has a recent track record of success, this doesn't surprise me as much.

However, the Orioles had a decade plus of losing, and we never saw this, so on some level it does raise a question. Are the Houston fans just apathetic to the Astros for a particular reason?

Houston is nowhere near a baseball town like Baltimore. Combine that with epic losing seasons B2B, nobody is going to show up to the games. They even tried giving away 2 free tickets for kids w/ purchase of an adult ticket. They have had several $1 hot dogs days to try to make people come to the park. While getting the #1 picks will help them, baseball seems to be different because a great starting pitcher still only starts every 5 days (appx). On the opposite side the Texans had several losing seasons but always sold out even during the end of the Carr years. Another reason being we love football here and were just thrilled having it back in Houston.

Bet they'll be tuning in when Rodon/Appel lead them to the promised land.
