    Keith Law on Arroyo:

He fills up the strike zone and takes the ball every fifth day, which is somewhat faint praise but still makes him a $2 million to $3 million fifth-starter candidate on a one-year deal.

Keith Law woefully off base here. It's as if the man has no clue what a typical 5th starter in MLB is.

Nobody giving the third year to Arroyo. I bet he takes the Reds two year offer provided the AAV is in the same ballpark as Twins, Mets, and the fourth team. No reason to sell your house, get uprooted, work with a new pitching coach, etc for essentially the same deal and Reds appear to be the best team in the mix, too.

I'd very much be OK with that.
