My first memory of a major league ballpark is going to Shea Stadium early in the 90s. Can't recall anything specific about the game (I must've been around 5 years old).
My first vivid recollections would be my 2 times at Yankee Stadium with my grand mother and her sister. First was 96 or 97 against the Orioles (I loved Ripken & Alomar at this time so this was awesome). Sat in the left field section underneath the upperdeck by the left field pole. Luis Polonia sp? ftw.
Second was 98 in the upperdeck behind home plate to see the Mariners. Only can recall some guy in the section beside us catching a foul ball with his bare hands.
I've been spoiled in my lifetime, as I went to a lot of sporting events, whether that was the Orioles or BaySox for baseball, Naval Academy events or the Redskins. My dad always had season tickets for us for all four.
The first game I really remember was being 9 years old and at Oriole Park for the Divisional Playoffs in 1997. I was at Game 3, which the Orioles lost, and remember being in the upper deck and Jay Buhner hit one 10 rows in front of us.

Thanks to tig seeing a Senators game I don't feel so old, but the rest of you are babies. My first was a Mets game on my 5th birthday. The only thing I clearly remember is that their starting pitcher that day was Tom Seaver.
The coach of my little league baseball team took us to see the O's before our season started. There I fell in love with Cal Ripken Jr and chose #8. Also went to some Bowie Baysox games as well.
Can't remember my 1st game but I do remember meeting Astros' Glenn Davis & Eric Young ('86-'87). My hospital took Cystic Fibrosis patients to a game and got to meet players before the game. I'm pretty sure they gave us Topps cards that we got signed by them. That was close to my 1st game.
