Gonna miss EOF. Went from being waived by the Mariners to a LOOGY to an elite set-up guy in a few short years. Now he gets a nice pay day.

Orioles couldn't even sign him with that modest payday

Great pickup by the A's though.

Potentially a huge pick up by the A's. If he comes back from TJS, it's a steal. I've thought O'Flaherty was closer level for a couple years now. I'm bitter the Nats didn't take a flyer on him.
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Seems odd for a savvy, cash-strapped club like them. Maybe it's the new market inefficiency?
