Just like when trades happen in the regular season, you have to declare that you want the players coming into the AL that your players were traded for.
Pete did the work to track player movement in the "round up" thread, and now I need each owner to check out the list & claim the players they are entitled to. The deadline is MARCH 1, so you have plenty of time to check in and make your claims and/or refusals.
Any player refused, or any player on a team that doesn't check in and declare, will be placed in the draft pool.
Any MLB interleague trades that happen before March 1 that effect our rosters will be posted in Pete's thread. This thread is for claims/refusals ONLY, and discussion of such. This is so I don't have to wade through multiple pages and the information is easy to find.
On March 1, the rosters will be locked, and any transactions after that will be handled as usual. Our "season" begins March 1.
EDIT - Should also note that if your player is/was traded for a minor league player(s) who is not yet in the Yahoo system, you are out of luck. Sorry. Those claims will be rejected once Yahoo is up & running and we know who is/isn't in the player database.
