    hey baseball fan people

since Billy Beane and all this Sabermetrics stuff is in full swing.

is there a site that has these type of stats ( and the normal stats too) and stuff like 3 dimensional hit tracking charts with a ball trail for each hit ?

Fangraphs has a lot of batted ball data, and pitchFX which is really useful. Unfortunately the FieldFX data which is similar to what you are describing is not currently available to the public. Just 2D spray charts for now.

              Here are other useful resources:

Don't understand the trolling going on in this thread. You guys always complain we don't have enough baseball posters on the site and then when a guy is truly interested in better learning the game a bunch of you try to shame him? Same goes for baseballchampion. Just some guys trying to talk baseball. Get off your high horse for once.

LOL yeah, you'd think I started a thread called "Rod Carew was a better hitter than Babe Ruth" or something

There was a time where I would've cared and tried to help. But alas, it's 2014 and this is still Virtual Sports Network, it's just not worth the time anymore.

                        Sorry.

May be worth it to start reading some of the better SABR blogs: www.beyondtheboxscore.com is a good one, it's not entry-level but it's not impossible to wrap your head around. As NAHSTE mentioned www.brooksbaseball.com and www.hardballtimes.com is great too.

                        There.

                            When rams talks, MLB listens.

20,000 data points per second. This shit is gonna change the game.

well, I simply meant for like the month or the year all hits tracked in different colors in one picture that might show tendencies etc.

where are those pictures above coming from ?
