Because there are few SPs that are actually consistent from year to year in terms of fantasy value, and those that are are always kept. Every year there are a handful of SPs that come out of nowhere and have a solid year, and then there are always the guys that were suppose to be solid that flop.

This thread was only necessary if you don't know wtf you are doing. You have a clear hole at SS, even if Reyes plays 3/4 of the year it is a major upgrade. Wainwright is one of the best starters in the game. Myers should be able to get somewhat close to Harpers production as well. Has nothing to do with me being a fan of the rays, I probably watch more Brewers games than you do during the year.Comment

When a person jumps to the immature comments such as the bolded above, they usually have no objectivity and jump to those immature comments rather than have a logical discussion. Grow up a little bit.Comment

I do. Are you that blind that you cannot see the holes in your team? Do you realize the trade opportunity you have? The fact that you keep questioning this trade and keep acting like there is a risk is just an example of why I think you must have some sort of mental disability.Comment

Even if Myers somehow bombs, this is a great trade. Shit, the outfield is deep enough where the trade could essentially be Wainwright for Harper and it would help.Comment

This thread reminds me of the old Fantasy basketball show with Rick Kamla when he would freak out when some nut called with an awful trade offer and ask if he can get a spot in their leagues so he can take advantage of the dumb owners.Comment
