Nice to see a triple digit payroll in Atlanta for once. Shame it's only because our cost-controlled pitching got hurt and we had to splurge last minute, but it's nice to see them stretch the budget in an emergency.

Surprised to see the Marlins and Astros so high

I used to run a dynasty league of sorts, where each owner in the league started with an MLB team, 25 man roster and minor leagues included. Salaries were involved, and we had a set "cap." For teams that were over that amount, we had a rule that gradually lowered their "cap" to get to an equal point with everyone. It was pretty interesting to see how people made moves around that stipulation.
