Explain eliminating divisions please. That's the first I've heard that one. I've heard of eliminating one like the NHL did, but that's it.

Current set up allows for this:

Team A wins 94 games, Team B wins 94 games. Because of geography, Team B gets playoff berth while Team A plays 87 win Team C in wild card.

I would eliminate geography dictating playoff seeding.

Eliminate the rule where the winning league in the ASG gets home-field advantage in the World Series.

Anyway, fine with taking top 4 in each league and keeping the LDS. My bigger issue is balanced schedule and removing divisions.
