Worst MLB call of the 21st Century

Coverage includes audio and video clips, interviews, statistics, schedules and exclusive stories.

Here is my choice...2009 postseason ALCS between Yanks and Angels.

Involves Tim McClelland...who had the worst call of the 20th Century when he called George Brett out after Billy Martin filed his pine tar protest.

Not even the worst call of that post season. http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/0/v7034...it-a-foul-ball

Mauer hit a fair ball. Extra umpire. You had one job.
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Ironically enough, McClelland also put the Rockies in the playoffs in 2007 when Matt Holliday was clearly out at home.

The Armando Galarraga screw job too obvious of a choice?

No, I did not get this thread correct. I kicked the shit out of it. I had a great angle, a great position, I just missed the damn thread. This isn't a thread. This is a history thread. And I kicked the shit out of it. And I took a perfect thread away from you posters who worked your ass off all night.

Reminds me of every call thats made in my summer softball league.
