Cashman said he's not injured, but the pessimist in me smells smoke....he's been on the disable list two prior times in his career due to an abdominal strain...both occurred early in the season.....also his velocity was down a bit....of course this could be nothing and he could come back and pitch lights out his next few starts and all would be well.....but after enduring Carl Pavano, Randy Johnson, Kevin Brown (ugh), I can't help but be a bit wary

On another note. We have Wang going today. He is a beast and hopefully our team will rally behind him making his first start since getting injured last year.
lincecum was actually out in 3

Wang could not keep his pitches down tonight and got hammered.

We have one of the best hitting teams on paper yet we can't drive in a runner from 3rd with NO outs. That is absolutely ridiculous.

We have the bats to put up runs but when our SPs are allowing 4,5,6 runs in 5 innings or less it is extremely hard to win games. I was glad to see Tex's first hit as a Yankee. Jeter is playing PHENOMENAL so far, even tho it has only been 2 games. Tomorrow we have AJ going. Hopefully he can show CC and Wang how to pitch.

I will say. The top of Baltimore's lineup is nasty.

Just looking at the box score, looks like the Yankees bullpen was pretty solid, while the O's bullpen was close to blowing it.

Wang allowed all the runs today I believe. His shit was terrible. Every bitch was belt high and he just got drilled.

880's chopper took some pictures of crews beginning to take apart Yankee Stadium. Even though I'm a Sox fan, my first game was Yankees-A's Opening Day 1996, so it is a bit sad to see it go. Not the same place as the original, but still had the same feeling when you go to your seat of knowing you were someone special. I've been to several parks and only Yankee and Fenway have given that feeling.

I don't meet many redsox fans who aren't douches ( I also don't meet many Yankee fans who are douches either). It is always a relief when you find another fan who shares the same passion about the game as you even though they root for a team you hate with all your heart.

I still have to get to Fenway (I'm going to Boston for the first time in June), but the feeling that you got entering the old Yankee Stadium was a bit awe-inspiring. I have to see if it's the same in the new place.

Tex is looking GOOD today (no homo). Plus the fact that the Orioles gave us 2 runs and possibly more in this 6th inning isn't a bad thing either.

An all around good win for the Yanks today. AJ pitched well and only had one rough inning which he got out of. Tex, Cano, and swisher also had a big day. nice to see Mo take care of business in the ninth.

going into the bottom of the 8th. Pettite has given us our best pitching performance of the young season so far!

Pretty good game today against the Royals. Joba looked solid, but the Royals had a nice little 3-run rally in the bottom of the 8th, giving them the 6-4 win over the Yanks and preventing the sweep. Can't wait for the Rays series that starts tomorrow.

Coke will be fine. He's still young. I was a little surprised to see him there, but shit happens.

Wang vs. Kazmir tonight should be fun. Is Tex going?
