Braves sweep the Nationals. Nothing I should be too proud of but a sweep is a sweep and a win is a win. 1st place in the NL East right now and we are playing amazing. I've never had so much fun watching a team play the last few games. They are out-hustling everyone and simple role players are showing up HUGE. We sat Kotchman and Johnson both last night so the right side of our infield were both bench players and they ended up going like 4-9 in that game with 3 RBI's combined. Love it.

Grand slam Carlos Pena! Rays winning 9-0 in the 2nd inning. Yankees are awesome.

Brewers are my home town team. I'm a huge Braves fan though. I'd rather see the Braves win than the Brewers. I really don't like the Cubs so any time they lose I'm pretty pumped.

Did you guys see Nick Swisher pitching an inning for the Yankees tonight? He pitched an inning and struck out Gabe Kapler. Pretty sure he was the only Yankee pitcher not to give up a run. lmao

Mets ended up losing their home opener b/c of a balk (WTF? third balk of the season)...

Mike Pelfrey starts slow but picks it up...dude just hasn't had it in the first inning in his two starts so far

David Wright hit a HUGE three run, game tying HR during the game. All downhill from there.

No reason the Padres should be able to score 6 runs. Their line-up is crap.

Beasts of the NL East clash today. Not the beasts many expected though. Marlins (5-1) @ Braves (5-1) face off for the best record in not only the NL East, but the entire MLB. Should be a good contest with Volstad going for the marlins who is 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA and Vazquez going for the Braves who is 0-0 with a 4.50 ERA. Vazquez did leave with the lead last time though, pitching 6 innings and giving up 3 earned runs. Should be a hell of a game.
