    Bard has some filthy cheese.

Glad they finally got rid of Lopez. He was pure balls this season.

Papelbon makes it harder for himself, but comes up big. I effing love Jason Bay.

        Good game.

He has a 1.29 era this year with 0 blown saves, so if this is him screwing up I'll take it. He's walking more guys than usual (higher WHIP despite BA against being identical to last season).

Command, has 7 walks in 13 innings. Only 8 walks total last year, but like Len said he still is putting up good numbers. Hes just making it harder for himself.

I laughed at Carl Crawford basically just giving Papelbon that K. He swung the same dainty swing at the same high fastball 3 times lol.

I dunno, those swings seemed pretty violent to me lol

They seemed like terrible swings to me. I guess they were hard swings but he isn't a long ball hitter so wtf was he doing lol

0-7, 3Ks, 12 men left on base. Solid game from Ortiz

This is when Francona's stubborn loyalty starts to hurt us, Ortiz really needs to be moved down in the order, but its not gonna happen.

Nick Green fails so bad. How do you throw a ball 15 rows into the stands from shortstop

he shouldn't even be in there. He's not a major league level defensive shortstop, and neither is lugo. There is no solution at SS for us.

Lugo is actually doing quite well at SS since he has come back.
