Look at damn near every write up of the trade.. the majority of them even say that the Raptors traded for "tough guy" Reggie Evans. Are all these media outlets wrong too? The guy is tough. Sure, I may have overblown his role as an enforcer, but only because the NBA in general lacks enforcers. The point I was trying to make has been reiterated several times now.

Evans will bring rebounding and grit. Yes. That's it. He's a hard nosed player. Would I consider him tough? Sure. But not because of some hypothetical flagrant foul scenario and not because he sexually assaulted a member of the LA Clippers. He's not an enforcer. He's a big scrapper and rebounder and will play to contact. I never said he wasn't a tough player. Evans is a tough player. Doesn't back down, hustles, takes fouls, does the dirty work. That's tough in the NBA nowadays. I don't think this should be up for debate. It's the impact that this will actually have on the Raptors that is debatable.

Yeah unfortunately for Reggie hes never really found consistent minutes for a whole season other than maybe his Seattle days. But, he is by far tougher than anyone on our squad.. so hopefully he'll find his energy role off the bench. Problem for Reggie is a lot of the time coaches want an offensive punch off the bench and Reggie is the opposite of that.
