Marcin Gortat has a Jordan jump man logo tattooed on his right calf, which has become a problem with Reebok. Gortat has an endorsement contract with Reebok.
Gortat and his colorful Jordan tattoo appeared in a picture on the front of a Polish newspaper after Game 1.
Reebok’s suggestions were apparently to wear high socks or body makeup to cover the tattoo.
“I've been wearing it four or five years now, and it helped me get to the NBA,†Gortat said after Tuesday’s shoot around. “They didn't say anything about it when I signed the contract, so it's not going anywhere. I don't think they are paying me enough to take it off.â€
