cant say they should or they shouldnt without knowing the exact details..... but there is almost no way you let Arenas sit a full year paying him the max and then deal him for an older Ginobili.... that is senseless...... and Butler is also younger and extremely talented, why deal him for Ginobili?

Indeed. I wouldnt expect any of the current starting 5 to be going for Manu. Unless the Spurs decide they want Dominic McGuire.

If they trade the #5 pick and expirings for Ginobili, how are they getting worse? If they can get that kind of value out of that pick in this draft then they are geniuses.

I love Butler but I would consider swapping him for Manu. Depends on other pieces involved. Manu is just full of winning intangibles. Hard to pass him up.

Again, no way you swap a Butler for Manu who is almost 32 coming off an injury...... that is borderline nuts......
