They'd likely have to rid the contract of Mike James and maybe Deshawn Stevenson to make it work.

the Spurs would probably take a young big like Blatche or McGee instead of Stevenson, but James 6 million dollar contract is almost certainly a part of the deal...

I only said Stevenson cause hes making almost 4 mill annually for the next 3 years. That + Mike James 6 mill is pretty much equal to Manu's 20+ owed for the next 2 years.

Manu's a couple notches below Kobe in terms of production per 36 or 48 or whatever the fuck. Dude's efficient as shit when he's out on the floor.

This. Spurs will rip off Wizards and get Blatche as well as the #5. If Blatche learns under TD just a little bit he'd be a useful player.

I could see the Spurs taking Jordan Hill at #5, assuming they manage to get it. That team can use an athletic energy guy.

if the Spurs deal the #5 for Ginobili, they are gonna grab Harden in his place, an atheltic player ready to step in and play now.... he would fit a need as an atheltic player off the bench behind Mason... and they get Blatche and James from the Wizards........

Too much of a possibility of Harden being picked sooner imo. But you never really know at this point.

                        PG: Arenas
                        SG: Ginobili
                        SF: Butler
                        PF: Jamison

Then all they need to do is lock up the center spot with McGee or some new vet

It is most likely the #5 pick for him. They have been looking to trade it for either Manu or Amare.

The Spurs will find a way to make it work. The Wizards will still find a way to suck.

A deal that makes a lot of sense for both sides is a swap that consists of Mike James, Etan Thomas, the fifth pick in this year's draft, and Nick Young for Ginobili and Fabricio Oberto. Nick Young would provide the Spurs with the promising young shooting guard they tried to acquire in J.R. Smith and with the fifth pick they could go a number of different ways. Jordan Hill or DeMar DeRozan would look awfully nice in a Spurs' uniform.

The Wizards won't trade away any of their big three.

you could be right, but i hope they dont give up on Young so quickly.... when he gets minutes he has shown he can play at this level.....
