    Kobe's "Elbow" On Jameer Nelson

There was a debate about this in the ChatBox, so let's debate it here:

    <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dT2VPTSJk50&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0xe1600f&color2=0xfe bd01"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/dT2VPTSJk50&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0xe1600f&color2=0xfe bd01" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>

That's the video. Now, when the play was happening, I didn't even know Kobe's elbow made contact because it looked like he was trying to pass the ball before the double team came. When I look at it again and slow it down, I still see the same thing. Just watch. His elbow goes up to try to pass the ball as Jameer Nelson runs into him. People say that his eyes are looking at Nelson. Look again. He's clearly looking dead at Derek Fisher. Nelson just got caught in Kobe's act of passing. However, this is a more legit elbow:

Coincidental at best. Not a foul IMO.
And I'm not cheering for either team.

Is it a foul? Not in Overtime of Game 4 in the NBA Finals with 30 seconds left.

I dont want the refs to play a part in games that important. And if Fisher misses that shot no one is gonna care about the elbow.

everyone was just mad the lakers won and tried to find excuses when the magic were the ones who lost the game giving up a lead and missing crucial freethrows

Kobe is such a monster he can throw Elbows to set up game winners

I heard Dana White and Pride Fighting are meeting for an official bidding for an exclusive MMA contract concerning Bryant next Thursday.

                      That was fine with me

Now his elbow on Bibby in 2002 was a different story

Just ask Dwight, elbows are a part of the game. How many does he throw a night and no one says shit about them? Elbowed Z in the throat, elbows Pau every possession. The Magic get a little taste of their own medicine and it's a hard pill to swallow. There was no intentional contact, Jameer ran into the elbow. Que the fat lady, this one is over.

I agree with that (although I am leaning towards the Lakers). Nelson ran into Kobe and got the elbow. NOT on purpose (this time)
                          I give rep not thanks

Did the Lakers make a historic comeback? Or did the Magic register a choke for the ages? Bill Simmons tries to decide in his retro diary.
