Realistically, how do you think Arenas will do next year?

Keep in mind, this is all barring injury. I doubt he'll get injured again, but it's a possibility.

I think he's gonna be a ~26~ PPG and ~8~ APG. Around 2 steals. I think he'll shoot around .360 from three point land, and around .860 from the charity stripe.

He's going to take on more of a passing role this season, and he'll have the ball more I believe. He's gonna be deadly next year, expect 5+ game-winners. What do you guys think?

More of a passing role this season and still average 26?

In the seasons where he's averaged 25+, he's only averaged between 5 and 6 assists per game. He has shot just over 28% from beyond the arch the past 2 seasons as well . Not to mention, hasn't averaged over 20 a game for the past 2 seasons.

He's going to take on more of a passing role this season, and he'll have the ball more I believe.
Is he going to pass the ball more or have it more?

17/5/3 statline for him next season.

He is going to have it more, but he's also gonna set up teammates more. And the past two seasons he's been hurt, so you can't go by that. And I think he's going to improve, he's not done yet.

        You asked realistically?

I gave you a realistic prediction of how he will perform this year. I wouldn't expect someone with Gilbert Arenas in their username to respect my opinion because your expecting him to post career highs in assists and also post one of his best scoring seasons as well, after coming back from nagging injuries from the past 2 seasons.

I like Gilbert Arenas, but not enough to try to convince myself he is going to come back and post 26 and 8. Gimme a break.

I never said I didn't respect your opinion. I do, I was just stating what I disagreed on. Sorry for the misunderstanding, and yes, I'm biased. But so what lol

              Also, he isn't shooting .360 from 3.
Why isn't he shooting .360 from 3? His career average is .358, he's shot over .360 three times, including a .375 season. So it isn't unrealistic.

My guess... he'll likely be out with another knee injury by early December.

Using that logic than how is the 8 assist mark realisitc, because the most he's ever averaged is 6 apg. I like Arenas and hope he can return, but IMO he's going to have to return being a playmaker, because the team has enough weapon to be successful without him having to score a bunch of points. If he can get somewhere between 17-20ppg and 8 apg this team would be better off.

I just have a feeling he's going to wow. Lol, now that I think about it. 22 and 6.5 sounds more realistic.

I'm sure you mean A sextuple double. In points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and turnovers. Yup, he'll turn it over on purpose just because he's better than everyone else.
