    Paul Pierce's Tweet

Lakers vs orlando. Looked like a german sherperd vs a poodle that's ok the rotwieler celtics will b back in 2o10

I'm glad this guy is earning so much money when he doesn't even know how to write correct english.

Celtics getting a little too confident now? First KG guarantees not one but a back to back NBA Championship and now Pierce with his tweet.

Gotta love the confidence. Lets see if they can back it up.

If everyone is healthy and motivated I don't see how they couldn't. Obviously you have the big 3, but then you have Rondo maturing into one of the best PG's in the league and you couple that with a now experienced and confident Davis, Powe and Perkins? We already know this team plays defense and pushed the Orlando Magic to 7 games without KG. The only real threat is the Cavs, but IMO even with Shaq the Cavs are still the 3rd best team in the East.

the celtics are a neutered rottweiler with its tail between its legs

the celtics championship run is over but it seems they are having a hard time realizing it

ghouse is crowned the winner. rondo goes home and cries to KG.

                    lol @ ghouse

So every celtic fan is a bandwagon dick rider? He was born in the area so why would he not support them from day one? Its not like he was born in Memphis and supports the Celtics . Id expect that sort of post from somebody who sees "beating chests" as being a good leader tho

Btw im not a celtic fan before you come back with an obvious response .

and the fact he said he was the best player in the world after the finals that shit was funny
                      Dwayne Wade?

Anyways, I agree with most of what you said about Paul Pierce. I don't like the guy at all, I think at times he acts like a bitch. Regardless, you have to respect the guy for what he accomplished. You do not average 22/6/5 in the playoffs just because you are a flopper. Not to mention he did a good job on Lebron defensively.

Nova, are you serious? Ghouse didn't even make any valid arguments in this thread and you're over here talking shit. If you aren't going to add to the conversation, feel free to shut the fuck up.

It's hard to win a championship. It's even harder to repeat imo. The fact the Celtics got knocked out early this year will obviously make them want it even more come next season.

But either way, it's a long offseason and anything can change. I'd love to see Lebron get a ring but he's going to need help, that's for damn sure.

Wow, what a huge impossibility, someone who lives an hour away from Boston likes the Boston Celtics. gtfo with your "ban wagon" shit, whatever the hell that is anyways.
I used to get the same shit from people all the time for being a Boston sports fan. I live in Connecticut. Basically 50-50 NY fans and BOS fans since we're right in the middle. It's hilarious because I haven't missed a Celtics, Sox, or Bruins game in years. If I can't watch it I record it.

As far as the thread goes, first it's a stupid thread. Second, throwing out bandwagon accusations is just plain juvenile. Sure there's plenty of bandwagon fans. It happens with every successful team in every sport. Look at how many Tampa Bay Rays and Orlando Magic fans that magically appeared out of nowhere over the last year. People flock to success. However, that's not grounds to call someone a bandwagon fan because they defend their team, however misguided it may be.

Personally, I'd like Pierce to keep his mouth shut and just play ball, but it is what it is. I'd much rather see some confidence than backing down from adversity.
