Here's a little food for thought though...did you hate the Celtics when they were 24-58...or are you just as bad as the bandwagon fans since you didn't start hating them until they were good?
I can understand that, but I live in the area. As it's been said, we support our teams in this area. As you probably know, Fenway just had it's 500th straight sellout, and the most talk ever around this area is about sports.

I'm not saying every Celtic fan is ban wagon. But IMO there are a lot more people claiming they are a fan, wearing Celtic's jerseys, and supporting the Celtics more than ever after last year.
For instance: My friend gave me so much shit after the Celtics beat the Bulls this year. He texted me after every good Celtic play and game saying shit like "Celtics own", "Fuck the Bulls", "Celtic's All Day Baby!" to me and it got annoying. Funny thing is , after he told me he's been a Celtic fan forever, I asked him why he never rooted for the Celtics in the late 90's and all through this decade i when they were bad, and he simply replied "Because they sucked, and I only liked them when they win."
Then I made a comment saying, why not watch them all season. and he replied "Because I only watch them in the playoffs".
That is a ban wagon fan right there. A kid that lives near Chicago.
No offense but why did you type this? There is a hundred of these guys for every team thats doing well
