That's what I'm saying. Sometimes Crawford puts up the worst shots. How's that going to fly with JJ and Smith?

I hope Crawford comes off the bench, jack up shots with the 2nd unit.

I like this trade for the Hawks even though I was a Acie Law fan.

lol, Crawford would make half of the dumb ass shots Josh Smith puts up for no apparent reason.

Please. When Josh Smith takes a jumper or 3, Hawks fans sigh to themselves I'm sure. He's so confident in a mid range game that really isn't there.

Give Crawford those shots instead. Watch the scoreboard light up.

Its a great move for ATL getting a player with allstar potential for two role players... like many others have mentioned Chemistry is the only issue.

They decided that he wasn't. Woody has never given him a chance, obviously doesn't think he's fit to be an NBA point.

Hopefully we can get our future PG this draft, by way of either Lawson or Teague. Gonna be interesting to see what we do.

I'm not in favor of checking Joe down to the 3, because I really think part of his advantage at the 2 is his ability to post smaller guards and out-tough them.

I like the flexibility this move gives us however. We can let Flip Murray go at this point, because Crawford is a better version of the same player.

Interesting to see what happens with Marvin and Bibby from here.

If you ever want to hear what it sounds like when 11,000 people scream "NO!" at the same time, go to Philips Arena one night and watch Josh Smith shoot a jumper early in the shot clock.

Can't be worse than Flip Murray, who made it his personal goal to make up for lost time whenever he got off the bench. There'd be nights he equalled JJ's shot total in a third of the minutes.

personally, i think this deal is Mike Woodson trying to say, I found a scorer, get J-Smoove out of the locker room. The rumors have been circling around Atlanta for some time.

I bet the Twolves wouldn't mind some J Smoove. :bunny:

Jamal Crawford will never be on a team that wins anything. Dude is a black hole. Expect 20 shots a game, 15 of which my 10 year old cousin is smart enough to know is a bad shot.

                              Some 'beast'.

lol Crawford is good in a WIDE open style...knicks and warriors and he was moved on...he's pretty much a chucker by all means.

So now you have a chucker, a passive star in JJ, and Josh Smith who has an existant non existant mid range game. I like Josh but he needs a bit more discipline in his game to elevate into the next plateau. He has great tools too.
