Good for him. Let him do what he wants. Jordan's shoes will never be filled. Not by his sons or anyone else for that matter.

Well one of the main reasons is he's awful. Like, not very good at all. He was mainly recruited by Illinois so they could have a better chance of grabbing MJ's youngest, Marcus. Marcus has regressed a lot in the past years and I think he's at UCF right now.Comment

Jeffrey became a very good bench player. He wasn't recruited by Illinois, so your story is bunk. He walked-on to the team, and played so well that he earned a scholarship. He was one of the few guys on the Illini who actually understood the game of basketball...very rarely would he make a dumb pass or a stupid play. He was short and actually unathletic, but he was a heady player who certainly would have gotten a lot of minutes this year. Sad to see him leave the team.Comment

Yeah, my bad I forgot about the walk-on thing. Don't think he entirely earned that scholarship, I'm sure the millions of dollars poured in by MJ had a bit to do with it too.
I still didn't think he was any good.Comment

He wasn't good when he first started playing, but IMO he improved a lot last year. Very dependable. I think he did earn the scholarship, because he was one of the first guards off the bench. I've seen much worse players at Illinois be on scholarship.Comment
