Pretty close now...but we were pretty close to gettign KG to though 2 yrs ago....

This sounds A LOT like the Kevin Garnett thing from two years ago, when the Warriors got to the brink of acquiring him for a huge bundle of players, and even started talking contract extension with KG… Before it fell… Continue Reading →

That's what I say, you have some leverage now at least.

Their just held up on Amare's contract. Both sides have to go all in.

PHX papers reporting Suns were ecstatic that Curry was their for the W's.

I just don't know why we didn't use it for leverage.

According to ESPN Curry isn't even in the discussion, it's Amare for Biedrins, Belinelli and Wright. And apparently it can't be done until free agency starts.
Finally back after a 3 year hiatus!

If Bucher is right, this trade sits better with me.

Both beat writers for the W's and Suns, both had the 7 going to phx.

Also wouldn't surpise me if part of the trade was the 7 for 14 swap. Nellie has been big on Clark for sometime.

they could really use amare for post scoring now...

curry wont have much impact on d but warriors should be okay with that system

Here is another article from the AZ republic on Curry possible part of deal.

Just went the trade to at least be unofficfially official before Weds...lol. So I don;t have to waste time figuring out what the deal is.

                          Some very interesting stuff transpiring.

Can't wait to hear what went on, and what the deal breaker was/might be.

was probably the pick I'm sure...the Suns have been VERY greedy in terms of trying to acquire talent as well as a pick...even back to the trade deadline when talks of Amar'e going to the Bulls...they were trying to get Gordon, Thomas and I think a pick or something.

Also talk of Amare to Houston for McGrady's expiring contract.....I heard some other players from Rockets involved but can't remember. I can see Curry going to Suns and learning from Nash before he (Nash) jets to the Knicks. :P

The Suns are going to end up getting nothing for Amare if they continue asking for so much. Kerr is a terrible GM.
