Using your words, not mine. Both were completely right in their actions and I don't hate either one for it, just face it though, you're a hypocrite.

Look at Al Jefferson, one of the top young players in the league. How many big endorsement deals does he have in Minnesota? How about Chris Bosh or Rudi Gay? What do all these guys have in common? SMALL MARKETS!

You can be a great, young player, but not get a big endorsement simply because no one will see you in Minnesota.
Chris Bosh doesnt have any problem with endorsements.. he pretty much represents the whole country of Canada for bball.

Lmfao @ you saying dont compare Spain and China then turning it around and comparing Al Jeff to Ricky Rubio in terms of marketability. Are you seriously comparing the two?

You're a walking contradiction.. Rubio will have zero trouble getting a deal.. unless people are turned off by the brutal attitude hes been exhibiting.

All I know, is that you don't like Rubio as a prospect, and now don't like him as a person either, and you're letting this combination turn you into a mad man. Smoke some kush and relax bro.

BTW, Rubio's passing ability and court vision was compared to Magic and Bird's last night, bet that pissed you off.

I use caps to emphasize points on most arguments.

You're right, I dont like Rubio as a prospect and especially as a person. But I atleast thought he had a chance as a prospect before I realized how terrible his attitude is.

You already know ESPN is all over this guys nuts. Some of those guys were comparing him to Pistol Pete. PISTOL FUCKING PETE bro! Mark Jackson said it best "noone is Pistol Pete, especially Ricky Rubio".

You saying that if a player does well, he can get an endorsement, then laughing and saying Al Jefferson, Rudi Gay, and Chris Bosh shouldn't be in the argument despite them playing amazingly well, but not having large endorsement deals. Yes, you are a joke and still a hypocrite.

Congrats on being able to "obtain" your argument, "pre-madonna".

Nice.. trying to nitpick spelling errors.. I mean that doesnt support me saying you're grasping at strings or anything.

I said Ricky Rubio will get an endrosement deal if he plays well.. its bcus of where hes from and all the hype around him.

And again, incase you missed it.. Chris Bosh has no problem getting an endorsement deal. That guy is all over the TV in Canada. Hes getting his.

And in case you missed it, SI doesn't even include him in their annual rankings of top paid athletes. He is behind at least 28 other basketball players, including the likes of Allen Iverson and Ben Wallace. But ya, he is definitely tearing it up, buddy!

Must be the Canadian exchange rate.

Wow.. god forbid he be behind NBA Legend Allen Iverson. Thats terrible.

Or even Ben Wallace. I mean he wasnt one of the most popular players in the league when he was in Detroit. He COULDNT still be living off those endorsements, could he?

                  Oh dear.. poor Chris.

Wait, so you're saying that great, young, charismatic players who are among the best in the NBA make much less money than significantly worse players who were on winning or even marginal teams in bigger markets? Gee, that completely proves the point everyone has been saying to you all along that he wants to go to a major market for monetary reasons and as you so eloquently put it, he would make much more money in those areas, even if he isn't great.

Gee, what a bitch by doing the extremely smart, financially sound move of wanting to go to another market. That is absolutely stupid of him to want to go to somewhere that he can make more money and become a much larger figure in the NBA. What an absolute bitch move to not want to go to a poorly run, small franchise that has been shown to pay significantly less than larger markets. That just SCREAMS idiot, right?

Face it, he is doing the smart thing.

I think he has made it pretty clear he doesnt wanna be in Minnesota. Didn't show up for the rookies press conference today, but their other picks did. What a joke.

Pecherov was recently traded and as a result he cannot be traded until Aug 24, 2009.
Plus Gomes and Pecherov make a combined 19 million dollars. Yao and McGrady combined make 131.7 million together, so you think Minnesota has 112 million dollars to give to Rubio to make the contracts match?
Third of all why the hell would the Rockets do this? They have Aaron Brooks running the point, and are they really gonna have a roster of Brooks/Gomes/Artest/Scola/Percherov when they can have Brooks/McGrady/Artest/Scola/Yao
Please think about that before you post something so out of this world

Trades have to matchup basicly ... Yao and Tmac are making a redicolous amount of money , the TWolves would have to give wayyy more than that just to get the numbers to match up
