Rubio has the right to do whatever he wants.

Frankly, I think I'd stay in Spain (where's he idolized) over a place like Minnesota.

It's a free country. I wouldn't want to play for the T-Wolves either.

I don't agree with this...He is acting like he is above the NBA, which is stupid. You enter your name in the draft in hopes of getting selected to play professional ball. If you get taken, and don't like the team, tough shit. There are so many people who didn't get drafted or were drafted below him that would KILL to be in his position. Top 5 pick in the NBA draft. Yet he is going to bitch out and go back to Spain. Come on now

It's still a free world ... and why should Rubio care about the guys who weren't good enough to make the NBA draft?
          That's not his problem.

His job and his agent's job is to put him in the best possible position for him ... not the NBA.

Well he should have just been a FA then. No point in entering the draft if he has a small select group of teams he wants to go. Primadonna at its finest.

He doesn't have that choice. He's forced to enter the draft.
He simply can't peddle his services to the highest bidder.

I do think it's a little selfish but I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing. He's just being smart and trying to get into the kind of situation he wants. No one else really has that option, but I can't really blame him for taking advantage of it.

Thats more than less what he's doing now. Hes gunna hold out and play in Spain until a team he actually wants to play for trades for him.

He shouldn't be allowed to do something like this. If you enter the draft your making a commitment to that league no matter the team your drafted by, the NBA needs to add a rule to avoid shit like this happening.

Maybe it's better that he stays the fuck over there. Don't come to NBA. Fuck Ricky Rubio.

Khan is a fucking moron. This guy was on NBA TV last nite and just hearing him get interviewed for 15 mins was enough to show me why he was dumb enough to do all this. He even said he thinks Rubio should start over Flynn right now.

I dont really think Minnesota's GM is angry at all with this situation. The interview/phone call they had on ESPN it almost sounded like he was all for Rubio playing 2 more years in Spain then coming to Minnesota. So imo this is just blown out of proportion.

                                1. Keep Rubio's rights for two years
                                2. Let him play in Spain
                                3. Continue to suck and get 2 lottery picks and/or make moves to contend
                                4. 2 years from now let Rubio come back better and more mature then he was and only 20 years old and rape the shit out of people
