Rockets might be better served to redirect and rebuild around their other younger guys.

Sorry to hear this, but its not as if the team doesn't have experience playing without Yao and McGrady who are the most injury prone superstars in the league. Yao going down has now taken half of the game's great bigmen.

The team is in bad shape. Two best players are always injured and aging, and their other great player is getting up there in age and is hard to unload. Sounds like a salary cap disaster in the making.

luckily they have some good depth...they've learned to play with who they have now.

Adding a good quick guard in brooks helps as well...only thing is they have no post presence at the time...

there's a very good chance that mcgrady won't be ready to start the season either, so it's likely that the only teams that would trade for him have tunnel vision on lots of cap room for 09/10 *cough*new york*cough*

If the skill were there he'd still be a beast, His APG was 7 and career he's averaging 6.7.. He would've made a pretty decent PG if you ask me.
