Agreed. All three are good players obviously but they seem to offset each other.

....and you really want the ball in Roy's hands.

That was meant to be a statement of truth....not a question. The Blazers should want the ball in Roy's hands, because his playmaking ability gives them the best chance to win games. I like Turk's game, but he's generally useless if he isn't dominating the ball. Miller has a nice game though, but with Roy they really don't need a traditional PG....just a guy that can hit the open shot. However, Miller also has a good post game, so it will be interesting if they utilize that. What this team really needs is time though, because they have all of the pieces....a top notch perimeter player in Roy, a good bigman in Aldridge and assuming Oden can stay healthy and out of foul trouble an at least servicable bigman who rebounds and blocks shots. I would like to see them get Bayless some more time though.

ESPN now reporting it's not going through. Have to have insider for the full scoop.

exactly and what is andre miller supposed to do? he doesn't have what I'd call a nice jump shot.

edit: okay so it isn't going to happen. I think that's good for Portland.

I agree. Miller is a good player and the team will have success, but IMO Miller only gets in the way of the development of Roy and Bayless. Down the road, this move will hurt them.

Miller can't shoot the three, but he's got IMO an above average mid range shot.

CBS reports that Hedo's contract with the Blazers is around a 5-year, $50M contract.

Turkoglu is so overrated. You could get a much better rebounding, scoring, defending forward in Lamar Odom for less.

They have been said to like Andre Miller, don't know much truth to that. And no, Iggy is more suited to play the 3, which would give us Lou Williams/Rip/Iggy/Brand/Possibly Dalembert. All I heard from a guy in the Sixers front office is that we are inquiring about Rip, doesn't necessarily mean it's going to happen.

Lamar is an interesting player. Half the time he is an all-star, the other half of the time I'd rather have Lou Amundson.

Odom gets better as his role and expectations are diminished, but he's still an enigma to me. If he's so talented, why doesn't he play like that all the time? Turkoglu's proven he can play in big situations more so than Odom has. I'd rather have Turkoglu if the contracts are similar.

Depends how the deal is structured with front or back loaded money and team/player options.
