I'm sure playing with this new team will restore his vigor. I am absolutely stoked for next season.
True, but his intensity has been on a steady decline ever since Ben Wallace left town. Last 2 or 3 seasons, he hasn't been himself. He disappears way too much and most of the time he doesn't give a shit.

I like Sheed, one of my favorite players, so hopefully he can get that fire back with the Celtics.

Trivia question. Rasheed averaged 5 blocks a game throughout his whole stint with this one team. What team was it?

          Trail Blazers?

This move puts Boston as the favorites in the East. As if they weren't already? I hate to say it, but Orlando might of done too much, and the Cavaliers not enough. I'm hoping that Wednesday brings some surprises and some of these guys go back on their "commitments" and shake things up. No lines have been inked yet, but if this one does? Boston is going to be nasty next season.

I'm not a fan of Orlando shipping out Courtney Lee, Rafer Alston and Tony Battie...

                For Vince Carter/Ryan Anderson?

On one hand you have a defined superstar in his twilight, in the other a skiddish kid who needs a little grooming. Alston's game speaks for itself, and Battie was good enough to get solid minutes out of to rest Dwight Howard. Add on the fact that you lose Turk and Gortat to FA and basically it comes out to doing too much to negate the VC trade.

That's what I'm talking about. For me, Rasheed is the most frustrating player to watch. The cat could dominate if he wanted to. Stop with the damn threes and get in paint.

                    KG > Sheed
                    Ray Allen > Steve Smith
                    Paul Pierce > Scottie Pippen
                    Rondo > Stoudamire
                    Sheed > Sabonis

That Blazers team was good enough to win 60 games, and that was it. The Celtics core already won a title and close to 70 games WITHOUT Rasheed, an improved Rondo, and Grant Hill

And lol @ the two hall of famers. Pippen was in the twilight of his career and no where near his HOF self.

OK... not sure why you are using guys "peak seasons" in your argument considering it was 1999-2000 and not 1995.

I should end my post here since you already fucked up on that front, but I'll pity you and go on.
Stoudamire was not in his prime in 1999-2000. He scored 12 ppg and had 5.6 assists per game. Rondo did better than that and plays WAY better defense. Sabonis averaged 12 points and 8 rebounds. Sheed did better than that and plays WAY better defense. Fucking Sabonis was a 35 year old white guy and you're saying a 34 year old Sheed is old?

Stacey Augmon played 11 minutes per game and rarely showed up in the box score.

                        Your argument is baffling

and lol @ Pierce not being better than Pippen in 1999-2000. Pippen's career was winding down, while Pierce is still an All-Star.

Argument is awful, and considering the Celtics team that won nearly 70 games and the NBA title get two better players (Sheed/Hill) and a much better PG that has developed, you're argument for the 58 or whatever wins that Portland got holds jack diddly.

I like you red, but your logic in this post is worse than a 14 year olds. You wouldn't happen to be from Portland, would you?
