It was probably a simple jam with LeBron flying in to try and block it or something. I could see a no-name reporter like this guy hyping it up just so he can draw publicity.

It wouldn't be a criminal tort, unless the guy confiscating the tapes assaulted the photographer in some manner. My memory of the law regarding this type of thing is a little fuzzy, but I am pretty sure that the owner of a "product" (which can be construed as the game being played for this little shin-dig) has a right to decide when, how and where his product is marketed, and to control all the things that coincide with it. That is why you don't see many name brands used in tv shows and movies: the owner of a product has a right to protect that product and market it how he sees fit. This falls in line with those reminders during professional sports games about "the images and views represented are the property of the MLB and blah blah blah". The photographer may have been granted permission to film the event, but only in the manner prescribed by the owner of the product. Again this is all from a beer-hazed memory, and if you REALLY want to know I can go grab my business law textbook and give you a definitive answer.

its funny, I remember going into lebrons rookie season in the summer league there was a guy on the magics roster named britton johnsen m(white guy real skinny 3 man) who absolutely postered lebron in his first ever summer league game AND 1 dunk, and to this day I cant find a clip of it on youtube or anywhere on the internet at all

Its funny because I was going to mention how some people may think that Lee dunked on him. When in actuality Lebron came from behind (trailing Lee on the fastbreak) and tried to block his shot, but Lee went up for the dunk then looked back at Lebron like he did something special. :laugh:

Eventually everyone gets "dunked" on, thing is NBA players are afraid of getting put on a poster so they just move out of the way. Kinda like 98.8 % of the league does when Lebron goes up for a dunk.

Because 98.8% of the guys who Lebron dunks on can't do anything either way. Guys like Mike Miller, Tony Parker, Leandro Barbosa, etc.

Good shot blockers will always be on posters though. Guys like Alonzo, Tim Duncan, Andrei Kirilenko, etc.
