Agreed. Not a good fit, but Miller will make it work. The Blazers just didnt want to go through this off-season NOT spending the excess money they had.

I would have preferred Hinrich, I would go as far as to say he's a near perfect fit for them, but at $7 mil. a year that's great value for Miller, especially with the team offer.

The Blazers now especially have arguably the deepest team in the NBA assuming they find a decent stop gap at the backup PF spot.

Blake, Bayless, Outlaw, Webster, Pryz, and Rudy all coming off the bench is legit

I think the point he was trying to make, is that Roy could focus more on scoring than distributing.

But Roy is better suited to scoring when hes the main ball handler. They'll make it work tho.. Miller and Roy are both great players.

Roy will still get the ball in his hands in key moments, but this just takes the pressure off Roy for the 1st and 3rd qtrs of games where he can just relax and get open for the shot.

Plus it puts Blake on the bench where he is meant to be(good backup PG,crappy starting PG)

I've been hearing that Bayless is the odd man out. Reports have been that he isn't what the team is looking for in a PG. Don't know exactly what they mean by that, but there you have it.

look for bayless to move to SG when The blazers trade Fernandez...
