    Campbell's last year in DC?

The Washington Redskins gave just about everything they've got to try and land another starting QB this offseason. They were heavily involved in the Jay Cutler discussions, and tried to trade up to draft Mark Sanchez.

Still, Jason Campbell entered training camp ready for a big season, to prove the Redskins brass wrong and possibly to audition for a new team in 2010.

While Week One didn't go so well, NFL Insider Adam Schefter urges caution to 'Skins fans who are already calling for Campbell's ouster. He does remind us that "he has a lot on the line this year -- it's the last year of his contract. So if Campbell doesn't get it done this year, you'll get your wish next year -- for sure."

It's not like the free agent pool is brimming with talent, either.

He's a piece of shit. I don't think anyone sees him in DC next year.

All of the top QB's in this draft are being a little over hyped. Especially with a lot of em(especially the higher prospects) being spread offense guys.

Thats what they said about Mike Vick at Atlanta. Yet Matt Ryan was able to succeed with his first OC....

I'm disappointed why the Skins are so ready to give up on Campbell when he finally has some consistency in coordinators. From what I've seen, Campbell's biggest problem is that he's very passive.

I don't think people realize how bad Campbell is. They have a decent O-line, one of the best RBs of our generation in Portis, Chris Cooley, Santana Moss, usually a good defense...yet Campbell is horrendous. Campbell made Todd Collins look like John Unitas, and Mark Brunell threw a better deep ball. Jason Campbell is a "black Jay Fiedler". How he keeps his starting spot is beyond me.

With the first pick in the 2010 NFL draft, the St. Louis Rams select : Sam Bradford, Quarterback, Oklahoma.

Yeah if they don't make the playoffs, he's gone. Skins fans around here are sick of him.
