i suppose it would be nice if he wasn't like that, but it's never going to change. give up on him.
If I remember right his girlfriend/wife and kid were killed. He has also had some heart problems that occurred in Chicago. I would like to see him overcome that.

He has indeed had some personal problems, but that doesn't warrant the fact that he continually reported to Bulls camp out of shape and overweight. I forgot the year but everyone was really excited because he had told everyone he was working out every day and rededicated himself... then he reported to camp something like 10-15 pounds heavier than the year before. That's when I knew he'd never become anything in this league.

The best thing I ever heard about him was one time in Chicago a reporter asked Skiles what Curry could do to become a better rebounder. Skiles replied, "Jump"

"Scott, what do you think Eddy can do to improve his rebounding?"
        Skiles: "Jump"

The Knicks say Curry dropped 40 lbs. Please...that's like throwing a chair off the deck of the Queen Mary.

Exactly. I think I read a quote from his trainer that even said it would be next to impossible to get Curry down to his listed weight of 285.

Trainer and Eddy Curry don't belong in the same sentence.

Walsh can't cut this load because of the cap hit, either. Another STELLAR job by Isiah Thomas.

At least you can take solace in the fact that the Bulls didn't do a whole lot with the picks you guys gave us.

We have jumping jack Tyrus Thomas and "high-energy, length" Joakim Noah. Noah has surprised me lately and looks like he'll at least be somewhat serviceable. Tyrus Thomas... is Tyrus Thomas. He jumps really, really high and thinks he has a jumper (he doesn't).

Wow at all the Curry hate. I mean it's justified but some of you are some ruthless mother fuckers. The burger and shake trade made me laugh. Curry is just your run of the mill "I made it, I'm getting paid weather I produce or not, so fuck it."

Shit, wouldn't you feel the same way if this blob was on your team? When you wear Oakley's number, playing soft is not an option.

Isiah actually thought this fat fuck could be 'The Franchise' - thank you Zeke, you really fixed our wagon.

the Bulls still bitch slapped the Knicks in that deal..

they got Noah and and used the other pick on LeMarcus Aldridge[later traded for thomas]
and the Knicks got a useless expensive waste of space...

the Bulls got 2 very valuable draft picks[regardless of how they used one of them] & the Knicks burned 60 million

Oh yeah it was no doubt rape. It's just disappointing because the rape could've been that much more severe had we held onto Aldridge.

true...but then again if ya had then you prolly wouldnt have been in a position to draft Derrick Rose

                              either way....Fuck You Isiah

....$29 mil for Jerome fucking James. Phat contracts to non-winners like Jared Jeffries, Jamal Crawford & Zach Randolph. Scott Layden was bad too, but Isiah made things worse with his ridiculous moves.

Remember, the Knicks don't have a 2010 pick because of the Marbury deal. That's just great.
