"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.
"Sometimes I just want to be with my family and watch movie and eat some popcorn. But when I step on the mat I know there is no other place I'd rather be." - Marcelo Garcia
Melo is that dude. I was so pissed at Chauncey for jacking up that three at the end of regulation when they didn't need one. A simple feed to Melo in the post would have saved everyone some time.
lebron should have set up gibson or parker (better 3 point shooters) for an open three rather than him jacking up out of rhythm shots. out of those 33 shots he attempted there had to be times they were open.

Lebron had 15 assists... he hit Parker and others numerous times for buckets.

And Chauncey Billups was 2/7... both shot under 30% from beyond the arc.
Lebron did take a lot of bad shots though... but on the same note he had a lot of good passes as well.
lol @ LeBron giving it to Parker for the win. Imagine the backlash if he gave it to Parker for the game winner
Hell it happened in the Boston game and the press never let it go. The star of the team has to try that shot unless somebody is wide open. By the time he slipped he didn't even have time to pass anyways

Exactly, plus if you look at that inbounds play, no one is open when Lebron gets the ball.
But what really killed the Cavs was their free throw shooting last night: they went 23/40 from the line. For you math majors out there, thats 57.5%. I don't care who you are, you don't win a game when you shoot free throws like that.

It was pretty damn impressive just to be in position to win that game considering they shot so poorly from the charity stripe and they didn't have a full roster. But then again, if Carmelo doesn't nail a tough jumper, we're not having this conversation.
