Ok, so Cleveland offers a lucrative contract to LeBron? What if he wants help? What if the money isn't important? And he looks at NY and goes "Hey, they got money to offer me and OTHERS to a decent contract." How did the Celtics put the big 3 together? "Hey we've got some CAP room, we'll get you guys here, pay you." end of story. Nice try at a rebuttal though.

ok..so now $$$ ca-ching isnt important..
he's going to leave a team that can offer him the most money and is a contender w/ a supporting cast[that's help BTW] far superior to what will be left of the Knicks for a team that will have no1 ....him and another star and 10 scrubs...
the Celtics had a big 3[ who were a year or 2 away from decline when deciding to team up, not in their mid 20s] + a supporting cast led by James Posey and Rajon Rondo....remember?
right...and no other teams are going to have cap room...just the Knicks...
and every other player will gladly take less $$$ to play 2nd banana to Lebron...
