    Gotta give it up...

...like my man Marvin Gaye...I had a few words with some Celtic fans a few months ago regarding who's the beast in the East. I'm not much of a talker...instead I told myself I would wait to the start of the season. Well...the Celts set a strong precedence tonight...going on the road and winning in C-Town. LBJ had his moments but that's only for the highlight reel. The Celts took care of biz. It's a long season but I can't say much after tonight. Whatup and Kuzzy..we had words too...I ain't forgot but Rondo....much respect. It's always cool to debate with those who actually know what they talkin bout. Til next time.

...That was the first game of the season, right? Or is my TV different than Coach's?

I know it was only one game, but the Celts certainly looked better than the Cavs. If everyone stays healthy and motivated the Celts and the Magic are the only true contenders in the East.

Well, what if the Cavs stay healthy and motivated?

It's an 82 game season. Jesus christ rofl.

It was a season opener. Not game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

I was never a fan of the trade for Shaq, as he really doesn't fit in with what they do, which basically is get the ball to LeBron and clear out. Also, this issue with Shaq is that both Orlando and Boston having big men that that run the court and in Boston's sitation a big man who shoots 3's. Shaq can't keep up with these guys. At this point in his career Shaq simply isn't the force that he once was. Yeah, he's an upgrade over Big Z, but he isn't going to propel this team above Boston or Orlando. Atleast that's my prediction.

I would be more comfortable if they had Matt Barnes instead of Jamario Moon. I still see matchup problems for them against Orlando.

The absolute WORST thing that happened to the Cavs and Moon was Moon hitting so well from 3 in the off-season. Now Mike Brown is encouraging the guy to shoot. Such a terrible, terrible idea.

While Barnes is not as potent offensively (Moon isn't much either) his perimter defense would be key in games against the Toronto, Orlando and Bostons of the worlds. I'd be WAY more comfortable with Parker + Barnes than Parker + Moon. What you lose in jumping really, really high and the occasional 3, you gain SO much defensively.

Yeah theres no denying Matt Barnes is a flat out better player then Jamario Moon. Moon has the talent to be a stud but theres a reason hes struggled so long to get to the NBA. Dude can only utilize his talent 25% of the time.

                              what surprised me was

the cavs signed Moon before Barnes and Daniels had even committed to the magic/celtics, not sure why they didnt push harder at the two, who are both better players then moon.
