Devan Downey was amazing as usual tonight. Great win for SC, it might've kept Darrin Horn his job for another year. He has 3 straight wins over UK.

I hope UNC doesn't get ranked. They shoot FT's horribly. Outside shooting is inconsistent. & the defensive rebounding is subpar. There's alot to be worked on before they can call themselves a top 25 team.

Kansas is one of the best teams in the nation. They really don't have a weakness. They should be a #1 seed in the tournament. With that said, I hope K-State kicks their ass on Saturday.

Downey was getting into the lane at will. Nobody on Kentucky could guard him (hell, they put Cousins on him a couple times). Why Cal didn't employ a zone once it was evident that guarding Downey man-to-man was as effective as a screen door on a submarine, I don't know.

On Patterson, he's not getting the fucking ball (especially in the last three games) and its starting to become a sore point with me. He's ranked in the top ten in offensive efficiency, but he's only getting the ball on 19% of Kentucky's possessions. He's become a role player on this team. Hell, Darnell Fucking Dodson gets more touches than Patterson, and that's just a travishamockery!

Its seeming like John Wall and Eric Bledsoe think its their team, when in reality PPat and Big Cuz are much more efficient scorers. Feed the big men the ball. Maybe PPat just needs the Cousins mentality, if you pass it to me im shooting I will never pass the ball back out of the post.

A John Calipari offense is a dribble drive offense and centers around guard penetration, so it essentially is Wall and Bledsoe's offense (team).

Greivis Vasquez and Landon Milbourne are one of the most underrated duos in the country. Neither has a ton of pro potential but at the college level they are incredibly efficient.

No. If we beat Clemson on Saturday we should break into the top 25 for sure. I expect to beat Clemson.

When you have two of the best postmen in the nation....might as well use them.

And they haven't run the DDM much this year. It's been awhile since I've seen a Cal team set so many screens. But with them facing so much zone, they've mostly been running zone offense.

I think this was a good loss for the team, because if anything it'll wake them up. Downey was killing them, but SC is a tough place to play for a young team. The Cats will be okay. IMO, when they're on they're the best team in the nation. Wall and Bledsoe are still only freshman, so as the season progresses they'll learn how to better make plays for their bigs.
