Sacred Heart @ Robert Morris tonight.
Hopefully we don't look forward to the huge game ahead of us this Saturday, when we face Quinnipiac for the NEC regular-season title (more than likely).

WOW, anyone watching the SU-Gtown game?
Game is only 5 minutes old and I've seen some of the worst officiating maybe ever in a 5 minute span. If it continues this game will clearly get out of hand.Comment

LOL,,I told you. You missed the first 5 minutes and how bad it was.
The problem is they are calling the BS fouls and clearly missing a ton of fouls inside underneath that are legit fouls. GT is taking it inside, and Johnson and Jackson are hammering down pretty bad, no fouls.Comment

2nd half.....less than 2 minutes,,,4 fouls.
Top that off with Dickie V praising SU for their defense,,,when the Hoyas are getting space they are just missing wide open shots,,shot after shot.
Think I'm done with this game now,,I've had enough..lol.Comment

We jumped out to a 18-3 lead from the get-go and never let up. Rob Rob finally decided to show up and he led the us with 18 points, while Karon Abraham added 17.
Rob has to be one of the most mentally weak (don't think I worded that right, don't really care) players I've ever seen play. He has a shit load of talent for the mid-major level, but if he misses his first shot or is lackadaisical on defense, then he's basically sulks the entire game. If he starts hitting however, then if our guards keep on feeding him the ball, good things happen like tonight (8-8 FG).
Our walk-on came in with two minutes left to the delight of the crowd and promptly missed five three-point field goals. However, he got that many because every time he missed, we would pull down the offensive board and give him another chance.
19-9 overall and 14-1 in the NEC is real nice. And what's even better is that Quinnipiac (18-8, 12-3 NEC now) fell to St. Francis (PA) (10-16, 8-7 NEC) just minutes ago. So if we beat the Bobcats on Saturday night, then a third-straight NEC regular season title will come back to Robert Morris.
Oh, and our women clinched their third NEC regular season title in the last four years tonight with their win over Sacred Heart.

Marquette is probably not nearly as good as their record, but I give them credit for competing in the Big East. They are a very flawed team. If they don't hit their 3's, they probably aren't going to win.
That said, Pitt is a slop team who I really detest watching. Jamie Dixon has lost his mind (and hair). They are not nearly as good as they were last year (like Marquette).Comment

Good to hear Gonzaga is still showing they are, by far, the most overrated team in the country.
It's like the sun rising in the east. Every year Gonzaga inconceivably cracks the Top 10 when they are borderline vote worthy at best.
I can't wait to see them grab an undeserving 3 seed and get bounced by a 14 seed from the Sun Belt/CAA/Patriot league.. etc.Originally posted by ram29jackson
