    Brandon Jennings: Complete stud

I think he is the real deal ON OFFENSE. He gets alot of steals on defense and has quick feet but he really needs to take better angles on defense and come around picks better. He is great on offense and a little below average.

As the season goes on I think he will get better and better at defense. So yes, I believe if he can keep it up he will have a legitamate chance at ROY.

      You kids are so cute.

A guy plays 2 or 3 games and he is a complete stud.

Also in your first post that's a good point. He lit up the scoreboard out of no where. Great every player has a had a moment of fame. You need to be consistent to be a good NBA player. I can guarantee you that Brandon Jennings will have 6 point games and then next game he'll have 20 points. That isn't a good attribute of a player. He's got talent, yes but he isn't going to be a consistent star.

The question asked if he had a legitimate shot at ROTY, and the answer is yes. I don't care how many points he scores a game when he sets everyone else up like he does. His court vision is unreal. He needs to work on his defense and foul troubles, but he most definitely has a legit shot at ROTY. He's the reason the Bucks one tonight, no doubt about it. It looks like he forces a lot of shots, but he's been making them so I can't make that a negative yet. We'll see how he does Tuesday against Rose and the Bulls. If he performs as well as he has against a damn good PG in Rose, I'll praise him more than I already have.

I'll wait until at least 20 games into the season to start assessing teams and talent. What does 2 games tell about a team? Absolutely nothing. And that's especially true about players. Sure he's looked great in his first two starts. At the end of the day though it's those other 80 starts that will decide if he is or isn't the "ROTY" does he have a shot? Of course.

Everyone has a legit chance at ROTY with Griffin being a bust.

as long as he doesn't get into Skiles doghouse, he'll be fine. Thing is that experience over in Europe helped him. He worked on his defense there...he wasn't the star and he was honing the little things in his game to go along with the blazing speed, good passing skills and scoring skills that he has.

You can sometimes tell right off the bat if a guy is for real or not.

I actually wrote about this today. The dude is legit. Near triple-double in his first game and already showing that he can lead this Bucks team somewhere. So much for college. With his success, many high school stars are going to take his route to the NBA and go play overseas. If there is a time for Brandon Jennings hype, now is the time to jump on the bandwagon. I can't wait for the Jennings-Rose battles they'll have in the Central division. Those are going to be fun to watch.

                          This play says it all:

I think he has been somewhat lucky so far with his stroke, he has taken some pretty bad shots, particularly 3's that have gone in. If he manages to stay consistent with his jumper miraculously then I think ROTY is well within the realm of possibility.

Some real good players came out of this draft class man.. gonna go down as a good one for sure. I am surprised Jennings is this good, this fast.. I knew playing overseas helped, but he pretty much put up better numbers in that Detroit game then he ever did overseas. Dude is legit.. I dont expect big numbers all year, but hes got the game to be a prime time PG for years to come.
